Hi, I'm James - Director of James David Films. I have been working in the entertainment industry for over 10 years, during this time I have been lucky enough to have visited 117 countries! 2020 has been a year for us all. I disembarked off a cruise liner and gave myself three options going forward:Personal trainer, barber or videographer.
I decided to choose the latter launching my company James David Films in March 2020.I studied music & video production and have based my company ethos on Innovative Thinking providing Bespoke Wedding Videography Packages and Promotional Videography working with record labels and corporate clients alike.
I work closely with a circle of Highly Recommended Suppliers most of these are friends I have met over the years who have taken their own leap in business, I believe helping small business flourish, if your date is unavailable with myself I have great recommendations for videographers across the UK and abroad, photographers, musicians, arts & crafts specialists, hair & makeup stylists. All who I am confident to personally recommend having worked with them all.I have built my brand, website, purchased my equipment from scratch starting small and growing slowly with no knowledge. I guess it goes without saying, I would be honoured if you chose me for your videographer / producer / director / photographer.
Weddings I use small, silent cameras; no complicated rigs, big fluffy mics or overbearing equipment. You want your day to be captured, but not feel like it's being interrupted.Theres no direction, posing or cameras pointed in faces. The focus remains on the most important parts of your day, thus creating a lasting legacy of memories, using natural lighting and real cinematic techniques.
