A Warm, Intimate and Playful Wedding at The Pilgrims Rest

Some wedding days feel warm, intimate and full of personality from the very first moment, and Sophia and Ben’s ski themed wedding at The Pilgrims Rest in Kent was exactly that. Both Sophia’s and Ben’s morning preparations took place at the venue, which created a beautifully relaxed flow to the day. There was no rushing between locations, just calm anticipation, nervous smiles and lots of quiet excitement as everything came together. The ski theme added a unique and playful touch to the styling, reflecting their love of adventure and giving the day its own unmistakable personality.

A Ceremony Filled With Genuine Emotion

The ceremony also took place at The Pilgrims Rest and was filled with genuine emotion, heartfelt vows and subtle glances between Sophia and Ben that said everything without a single word needing to be spoken. It was one of those ceremonies where the atmosphere in the room felt heavy with feeling in the best possible way.

One of the standout moments of the entire day was their sparkler exit outside the castle, a truly cinematic moment that felt straight out of a film. The combination of the glowing sparklers, the castle backdrop and the joy on their faces created a perfect ending to their wedding story.
