Hi, I’m James, and this is my little family.

Yasmin, my fiancée, helps run James David Films, and Ezra and Alani are our children, who our wedding film collections are named after.

I’m a Kent based wedding videographer creating cinematic wedding films across the South East for couples who want their day captured professionally with a candid & documentary style.

My couples choose me because they want their wedding filmed in a calm, natural way with somebody they have spoken to various times on the lead-up to the wedding. I am not a stranger attending your wedding, a friend to my couples from first contact to final delivery of your films and beyond. With me there is no  over posing. No awkward direction. Just real moments, as they happen.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of filming high profile events and working with well known names, including members of The Osbourne family, The Nolans, and a number of music artists and movie stars. That experience has shaped the way I work: calm under pressure, discreet, professional, and focused on capturing people at their best.

On a wedding day, I film quietly and unobtrusively, stepping in only when gentle guidance genuinely helps the story working seamlessly with your photographer.
