How I Film a Full Wedding Day
See how I capture a full wedding day naturally, from morning preparations and ceremony coverage through to speeches, couple portraits, first dance and the evening party.
Kent is one of the main areas we cover across the South East. You can view my dedicated wedding videographer in Kent page for more details about weddings across the county.
James David Films is a wedding videographer in Kent and the South East creating natural, cinematic wedding films.
My approach is calm and unobtrusive, capturing the real moments of your day without forcing awkward posing or turning the wedding into a production.
From morning preparations through to the ceremony, speeches, first dance and evening celebrations, I film the day as it naturally unfolds and turn it into 6 timeless wedding films you’ll want to watch again and again.

I film weddings across the South East, including Kent, London, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Hampshire, Berkshire and Hertfordshire.
Whether you are planning a countryside barn wedding, luxury manor house celebration, city wedding or coastal wedding, our approach stays the same: calm, natural and documentary led, with cinematic films that capture the real emotion of the day.

Are you a natural and documentary wedding videographer?
Yes. My style is calm, natural and unobtrusive. I capture genuine moments as they happen, offering gentle guidance only when it is helpful for couple portraits or important shots.
How far in advance should we book?
Most couples book 9 to 18 months in advance, particularly for popular spring and summer dates. I limit the number of weddings we film each year, so it is always worth checking your date early.
Do you include drone footage?
Yes. Drone footage is included in the Complete Wedding Film Collection where it is safe, legal and permitted. Flights are dependent on the venue, location, weather conditions and relevant UK drone restrictions.
If you’re planning your wedding across the South East and want a natural, cinematic film that captures the real emotion of the day, I’d love to hear from you.
